In a way, underlying the core of Guattari’s discussion of the three ecologies – the interconnectedness of the social, mental, and environmental – is a discussion of how to harness growing technological advancements to serve the public good, rather than using them as tools of a profit economy.

The discussion of the mental ecology here is crucial because it seems Guattari advocates a rewiring of our consumerist thinking as a way to fight for change.
