Thoreau Post-Phia

Thoreau discusses the necessities of life being food, shelter, clothing and fuel. However, this makes me question what are the necessities for life versus the ones to be sane. Without distractions, interaction, and communication we as humans remain pretty limited. We require nurturing and exchange, however much of this exchange occurs in or around these primitive necessities such as

growing/getting, cooking, and eating food

building, dwelling and maintaining ones home or shelter

buying and creating clothing

forming and utilizing fuel

Additionally, much of our inherent conversations are about these needs to survive.
