An Art Project by Refugees

The UNHCR (the UN’s Refugee agency) highlights an art initiative by Hanna Rose Thomas. During a visit to a Syrian refugee camp in Jordan, she had the idea to recycle old canvas tent shelters and have people paint on them as a vehicle for expression:
